Hi and welcome to A Baking Wonderland!
I started this baking blog to have a little space on the internet where I can share my recipes and love for all things sweet…especially chocolate. You will find a mixture of easy baked from scratch recipes with a few baking from a boxed mix hacks too!
Many of my recipes are at a smaller scale to help you resist eating a dozen cookies or an entire layer cake! My favorite recipe on the blog is Chocolate Snack Cake and in my opinion, anytime chocolate, snack and cake are together in a sentence it is going to be a good day! It is on constant rotation with changes to the icing to connect it to the season because if you have a fantastic easy recipe why not make it work for every occasion!
I am a strong believer that you don’t need expensive photography equipment or styling tools to find your place in the food blogging world. I take and edit all my pictures on my iphone. I always photograph in natural light and my back drop is often parchment paper! No fancy editing or computer equipment needed just a willingness to learn and lots of practice. Plus the food blogging community provides lots of free advice so if you have a question, just ask!
When I am not baking sweets you can find me relaxing at the lake, walking my two crazy pups or on my yoga mat.
