This easy chocolate oreo fudge needs no stove, candy thermometer or endless stirring at your pot and it takes only minutes to throw together. Simply mix and microwave a few ingredients and give it a good stir! No precise temperature measurement or prolonged stirring…the hardest part is waiting for it to set before you can cut and eat!
The sweet chocolatey flavor is a great base. Just sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy. Or experiment by adding mix-ins like Oreo pieces, M&Ms or nuts. Easily customized by adding festive sprinkles. Remember to add any mix-ins to the fudge after the chocolate mixture is melted in the microwave.
You can totally switch it up by replacing the chocolate chips with another type of chip. Think peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips or butterscotch chip but really the options are endless! Consider combining two different flavors of chips and making a layered fudge like chocolate / peanut butter.
Spike your fudge by adding a couple of tablespoons of Baileys, Amaretto, Whiskey, or Rum. Fire Ball would make give it a nice kick of cinnamon for the Christmas dessert table. Remember to add after the microwave step of melting the chocolate mixture.
If you need a quick easy dessert this is the one for you. Great for gift giving it is simply decadent and hassle-free.
