
I have always been a big fan of peanut butter balls aka buckeyes or chestnuts. This one has a crispy twist….a rice krispie twist! This is a super easy recipe and nice change of pace from the regular peanut butter balls. Plus it’s no bake!

Crispy Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 ½ cups rice krispies cereal
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Mix rice krispies and icing sugar. Set aside.
- Melt peanut butter and butter in a pot over medium heat until smooth.
- Pour melted peanut butter / butter over the rice krispie / icing sugar mixture.
- Let cool until you are able to comfortably handle.
- Form into balls and chill on a cookie sheet until they are firm.
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
- Using two spoons,dip the chilled balls into the melted chocolate to coat. Place back onto chilled cookie sheet and chill until firm.
