Chocolate Snack Cake is our go to cake recipe. It is quick and easy recipe made with pantry staples. It is only one layer and made in a 8 X 8 pan so it is a good size for a small family to each have a couple of pieces.

Coconut Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 ¼ cup icing sugar
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup coconut
- ¼ cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Combine cream cheese, icing sugar, butter and vanilla; beat until smooth
- Stir in coconut and nuts
- Spread over cooled cake or cupcakes

Brown Sugar Frosting
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 teaspoon milk, as needed
Instructions
- Beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add vanilla and beat to combine.
- Slowly add icing sugar and beat until fully combined.
- Add milk by teaspoons and beat until you reach desired consistency.
