This one is for sweet and salty fans. Makes enough to cover a 8 x 8 single layer cake (easily doubled, if needed) Latest icing on my Chocolate Snack cake because I seriously can not make any other cakes. It is such an easy and delicious cake I just keep changing up the icing. You can use caramel ice cream topping if that is all you have in the house and add a pinch of salt. The skor bits give it a little crunch!

Salted Caramel Icing
Ingredients
- ¾ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup salted caramel sauce
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup skor bits
Instructions
- Combine butter, caramel and icing sugar and beat on low speed to mix ingredients.
- Add the vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.
- Stir in skor bits.
