Jane's Maple Microwave Fudge
This easy Maple Fudge can be made start to finish in under 20 minutes. No candy thermometer needed and it is made in the microwave.
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- ⅔ cup butter
- 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sift the 2 cups of icing sugar and set aside.
In a large, microwaveable bowl, put brown sugar, butter and sweetened condensed milk.
Microwave on high for 8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. **use a metal spoon to stir**
At the end of the 8 minutes, let it cool in the microwave without stirring for 4-5 minutes, no longer.
Slowly fold in the 2 cups of SIFTED icing sugar and then add the vanilla.
Pour into a 8x8 pan.
Refrigerate and enjoy!
