Cocoa Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup coarse sugar for sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400. Line or grease muffins tins.
  • Combine flour, white sugar, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  • Add sour cream, egg, milk and vanilla.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Fill prepared muffin tins to the top.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • If sprinkling with coarse sugar take the muffins out a couple minutes early and sprinkle with coarse sugar and return to oven to finish baking.
