Mix brown sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter in a pot and heat until melted. Do NOT boil.
Mix in rice krispies, butter and peanuts.
Press into a 8 X 8 greased pan and top with pretzels or mini peanut butter cups, if desired.
Let cool.
Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the top of the cooled pan.
Option to melt 1 cup of chocolate chips to coat the entire pan and have a full layer of chocolate on top of the bars.
