Sometimes you just have to go with a classic recipe. This was a new one for me and I was missing out! The only change I made was to substitute chocolate chunks for chopped nuts and sprinkle some sea salt. These are one of the best chocolate chips cookie recipes out there. Sometimes it is the classics that wow you!!

Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is the recipe right off the Nestle chocolate chip bag.
Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon backing soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375. Line baking sheets with foil.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
- Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in mini chocolate chip and chocolate chunks.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons on to baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with sea salt. Cool on pans for 2 minutes and then move to cooking racks.
