This is a half recipe and it made a dozen cookies. I doubled the amount of chocolate chips because chocolate is good for your soul 🙂 If you want a full batch head over to katiebirdbakes.com or just double the recipe below and double the chocolate chips! Salted Brownie Cookies

Ingredients
- ½ cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoon white sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoon flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine chopped chocolate and butter. Microwave in 30 second intervals until just melted.
- Whisk together sugar, vanilla and salt. Whisk in egg. Stir in flour and baking powder. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Place bowl in fridge for about 30 minutes to thicken.
- Use a cookie scoop to make dough balls and place on lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sea salt.
