Salted Brownie Cookies

This is a half recipe making about 12 cookies

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoon white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350.  Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Combine chopped chocolate and butter.  Microwave in 30 second intervals until just melted.
  • Whisk together sugar, vanilla and salt.  Whisk in egg.  Stir in flour and baking powder.  Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Place bowl in fridge for about 30 minutes to thicken.
  • Use a cookie scoop to make dough balls and place on lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt.
