Chocolate Chip Cookie Sticks

Recipe by Christina Lane at Dessert for Two

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350.  Line the bottom of a 8 x 8 inch square pan with parchment paper and grease the edges.
  • Beat together the butter, icing sugar and honey with an electric mixer on medium speed. Beat until fluffy, about 45 seconds.
  • Add vanilla and beat until combined.
  • Add the flour and salt and beat until combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Press the mixture into the pan.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges start to brown.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan.  Use a pizza cutter to slice into sticks.
